My name is Raymond Lara and I am an athlete with the League of Dreams! I started with LoD in 2007 when baseball was first created and I have been an athlete since. I have played baseball, basketball, bowling, karate and yoga! 

My family volunteers with me as team parent, coach and angel. I love sports, all the friends I have made, watching movies, and my school Independence Through Grace. I may have been told that I am a flirt. 

I used to sit on the sidelines of my brother's sports games just longing to be involved, my parents could see it in my eyes. Just because I am in a wheelchair and considered disabled, it doesn't mean that I don't want to do the same things in life. The League gave me a chance to do just that, to play sports and provided me the help I needed to play, and gave me the opportunity to build strong friendships along the way.  I love LOD!

Please help raise money for the League of Dreams so that every child can have a chance to play sports, just like me!
