The League of Dreams is an adaptive sports league giving every child a chance to play by providing sports training, team camaraderie and competitive sporting opportunities to athletes with physical, developmental and cognitive disabilities ages 5 to 22. The League was founded in 2007 by Tim Terrio and has grown under the direction of Executive Director Jessica Mathews. The League currently serves over 700 athletes in Kern County and provides 10 different programs.

Hello! My name is Dr. Jesse Torres and I am excited to be a 2022 Shoe Guy!

I am a marketing consultant and owner of a production company.

I enjoy walks on the beach with my wonderful partner of 10 years. I wrote a dissertation on swarm intelligence and I love my dog, Gus!

I was connect to the League of Dreams recently through a friend and I am excited to be involved as a Shoe Guy for Wine Women and Shoes!

I believe everyone has a chance to play and that is why I am raising money for this wonderful organization. Please consider donating to my fundraiser for my quest to be named King of Sole!
