The League of Dreams is an adaptive sports league giving every child a chance to play by providing sports training, team camaraderie and competitive sporting opportunities to athletes with physical, developmental and cognitive disabilities ages 5 to 22. The League was founded in 2007 by Tim Terrio and has grown under the direction of Executive Director Jessica Mathews. The League currently serves over 700 athletes in Kern County and provides 10 different programs.

Hello! My name is Mark Barnes and I am a husband to Lindsay and father to 2 amazing boys.

This is my second year being a Shoe Guy for League of Dreams at Wine Women and Shoes.

The League of Dreams mission of giving every child a chance to play means so much to my family and I, so that is why I have decided to be a Shoe Guy again this year. Giving opportunities to all children is how it should be.
