The League of Dreams is an adaptive sports league giving every child a chance to play by providing sports training, team camaraderie and competitive sporting opportunities to athletes with physical, developmental and cognitive disabilities ages 5 to 22. The League was founded in 2007 by Tim Terrio and has grown under the direction of Executive Director Jessica Mathews. The League currently serves over 700 athletes in Kern County and provides 10 different programs.

Hello! My name is Bob Meadows and I work for the City of Shafter. I have been married to my beautiful wife, Vicki for 43 years. I am a lover of wine, food, music, sports and mentoring. Faith, family and friends are what is most important to me. 

I have been a Shoe Guy for several years and this is my second year with League of Dreams.

I truly believe every child should have a chance to play and that is why I am fundraising for the League of Dreams through Wine Women and Shoes!
