The League of Dreams is an adaptive sports league giving every child a chance to play by providing sports training, team camaraderie and competitive sporting opportunities to athletes with physical, developmental and cognitive disabilities ages 5 to 22. The League was founded in 2007 by Tim Terrio and has grown under the direction of Executive Director Jessica Mathews. The League currently serves over 700 athletes in Kern County and provides 10 different programs.

Hello! My name is Xavier Canez and I am the President of Sales for Adaptive Networks. 

I have been married to my wife for 10 years and have been dating for 15 years total! We have two children, Gabrielle (13) and Xander (11). I am a business owner, North Rotarian and baseball coach.

As a young athlete, being included was always the best feeling. Coaching kids now for almost 20+ years, I see the importance of the experience of playing the game with your friends. That feeling should not only be reserved for those without disabilities. That is why I am raising money for the League of Dreams as a Shoe Guy for Wine Women and Shoes!
