Hello, my name is Chris Johnson and I’m excited to be a Shoe Guy for this year’s Wine Women & Shoes event for the League of Dreams.

My son Zackary joined League of Dreams as an athlete several years ago and as a proud parent watching him from the sideline to learning to couch his teams has been so rewarding and I am truly grateful Zackary and the other athletes have this opportunity to not only play a sport, but allowing them to feel apart of a team. Watching Zackary participate and grow in the league, I can see it in his eyes each game he’s filled with pride, his confidence grew exponentially and his excitement to play and be a part of a team is priceless.

League of Dreams not only provided Zackary with an activity or sport for a season, it was a springboard for his courage, confidence, and ability to interact with others and follow instructions in a social environment– all traits and lifelong values he will use and continue to build on.
